Festive Duties Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Disney Dreamlight Valley Festive Duties are holiday activities that you can do to earn different winter holiday-themed cosmetics and furniture and whatnot. There are five “challenges” you can do, but none of them are exactly super-clear. Plus, some of the tasks are still locked, it seems. Whatever the case may be, we will explain how to complete all the Festive Duties in this guide.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Festive Duties Ho Ho Ho

Edit: My somewhat-flippant guesses where actually fairly correct. You do have to play Santa to the villagers. Read our Ho! Ho! Ho! Disney Dreamlight Valley guide for the full details.

The Ho Ho Ho “challenge” of the Festive Duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley seems to be locked at time of writing. We’ll be sure to update the guide with more information as soon as we have it. We don’t yet know what you’ll have to do to complete it. My guess is that it will involve giving presents to your Disney friends. I don’t mean real people, I mean the many characters that you get to meet while exploring DDV. You’ll probably have to make the “right” present for each character, but maybe not. We’ll have to wait to see if I’m right.

Do You Wanna Build a Snowman Festive Duty Solution Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Do You Wanna Build a Snowman Festive Duty, you just need to craft a snowman and place it anywhere. We went for the Haughty Snowman, which requires ten Snowballs, one Crystal, two Fabric and two Rubies. However, you can just make the Classic Snowman (ten Snowballs, one Carrot, two Fabric, three Pebbles). Perhaps the Snow Kid and the Snow Lady work; feel free to try if you have the resources. All of these are under the Furniture section of the crafting menu, and you can make it at any crafting station. Plop it anywhere in the Village, and you’re done. The reward is the Festive Candy Ears with Bow cosmetic.

How to Complete Cookie Taste Test Disney Dreamlight Valley Festive Duties

To complete the Disney Dreamlight Valley Festive Duties Cookie Taste Test task, you need to make and eat three different kinds of cookies. Go through your recipes under the Desserts section and find any three dishes that have the word “Cookies” in the name. Head over to the cooking station and bake those three kinds and eat them. That’s all there is to it. For your troubles, you’ll earn the Festive Candy Ears cosmetic, sans the bow. We went with Chocolate Chip, Minnie’s Gingerbread Cookies, and the Hero Cookie. You can make whichever ones you want and have the resources for, so long as they are three different kinds.

A Home For the Holidays Festive Duties

The Home for the Holidays Festive Duties task in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires you to craft five Festive furniture items (or those earned as event rewards) and place them inside your house. These can be the menorah, the kinara, the yule goat, the holiday feast plate and cutlery, the holiday feast chair, the tree of holiday cheer, etc. Each of them will require their own separate crafting materials, of course, but it shouldn’t be too big of an issue. The reward for completing this task is the Winter Carpet. It doesn’t seem like much for the invested resources, but it is what it is.

Even Fish are Festive Dreamlight Valley

There are five different Festive Fish in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Festive Duties task: the Squid, the Bass, the Salmon, the Anglerfish and the Fugu. You can tell them apart by the little Santa hat on their heads. You can read more about them in our separate Festive Fish guide, including where to find them all. The problem is that this challenge seems to still be locked. We’ve tried for hours to catch any of the five fish, all to no avail. Again, we’ll be sure to update the guide once we figure out what we’re supposed to do / when the task unlocks properly.
