Where to Find Diamonds in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

So, where to find Diamonds in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Are they hard to get? Well, kind of. If you want to get them for free, you will need to go the hard way. And that means a lot of adventuring and exploring. Yes, it is possible to find them as rewards out there in the wild, hidden in chests inside various shrines and caves. So far, we’ve managed to find only five Diamonds in the open world. These are the locations:

  • We found one inside the Observation room of the Hyrule Castle.
  • One was a reward inside the chest in the Maoikes Shrine.
  • Another one was inside the chest of the Yomizuk Shrine.
  • There’s one in the Bone Pond East Cave (Lanayru Wetlands).
  • Finally, one Diamond is waiting for you inside the Tarm Point Cave.
  • One can be found inside of the Jinodok Shrine, on the Sotuh Hyrule Sky Archipelago (thanks, LyykaPaws!)

So, those are Zelda TOTK Diamonds locations in the open world. However, there’s also another, more reliable source of this solid form of pure carbon. One could say an “infinite” resource. The catch? You will need to pay for them. Namely, there is a vendor in Goron City who has an endless supply of diamonds, which restocks on a daily basis. However, it will cost you 1000 Rupees for a single diamond. So, if you need them in order to get the ultimate weapons like the Rito Great Eagle Bow, the Boulder Breaker, and the Zora Lightscale Trident, you will need to spend some rupees.
