How to Complete Mayachin Shrine – A Fixed Device Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To complete the Mayachin Shrine, aka A Fixed Device, in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the first step is to hop across the rotating platform onto the main puzzle floor. Once you’re there, step on the square plate on the floor, next to the short pillar. This activates the puzzle. Walk down the stairs to the floor below. Take the stake from the ground and place it in the nearby contraption using Ultrahand, with the point going inside. Then, take the second stake and stick it to the end of the previous one, as shown in the images below. You’ve now created what amounts to a pinball bat you’ll have to use to bat the big ball up the ramp and into the target. Head back up to the aforementioned short pillar.

The next step to complete the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom A Fixed Device Mayachin Shrine is to use the contraption you’ve built to send the stone ball careening into the target on the left. Striking the short pillar moves the thing up or down. You want it down to begin with it. As the ball reaches the second marker from the bottom on the floor, hit the pillar. It might take a few tries, but you’ll get it eventually. This opens the door to the end of the shrine on the left. If you want to get the chest on the right, go back to the puzzle floor and to the right. Use the third remaining stake to stick the hanging stone slab to the one above it. Go back to the short pillar and hit it just as the ball is about to reach the edge below.
