Great Deku Tree Location Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The location of the Great Deku Tree (who you have to cure) in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is in the middle of the Korok Forest. That’s to the north of Central Hyrule. If you’re still struggling to find it, check out our screenshots below and our How to Enter Korok Forest guide. You will have to get there through the Depths. Sadly, the Great Deku Tree is very ill with gloom, and this is affecting the entire forest. Nary a “Yah ha ha!” to be heard. So, what you need to do is go inside the Deku tree and find the Deku Tree Chasm. Before you jump inside, we recommend you prepare. Get your hands on the Depths Armor Set if possible and prepare a couple meals with Sundelions to restore hearts blocked by gloom.

How to Heal Great Deku Tree Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To heal the Great Deku Tree in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you have to cure the gloom in his stomach. That is way easier said than done. As soon as you drop down into the Deku Tree Chasm, you’ll have to fight the terrifying Gloom Spawn, what with the gross hands spawning from the ground and whatnot. Use Bomb Arrows and Riju’s sage ability if possible to take care of them. That’s when the Phantom Gannon boss is going to come in. We’ll have a separate guide on how to deal with him, but here are a few bits of advice. You can block and even parry his single attack and the charge-and-swing attack. The spinning attack you have to dodge. Luckily, it has a long windup. Do not try to climb the walls to dodge, because the boss has a bow. Other than that, hit Phantom Ganon with all you’ve got when you can. Good luck!
