Sound of a Flute Zelda TOTK for Great Fairy Kaysa

Great Fairy Kaysa in Zelda TOTK lives near the Outskirt Stables and the Tsutsu-um Shrine, and she wants to hear the sound of a flute. She won’t exit her flower until that happens. So, it’s time to go find a flute player. That’s not as easy as it might seem. Your first order of business is to go to the Woodland Stables and talk to the musicians there. Then, you have to make your way to the Lucky Clover Gazette to become a journalist, then talk to the musicians again. Repair their cart, get a horse with a harness, and take them to the local fairy. Her name is Tera, and she is the first Fairy you have to unlock before you can get to Kaysa and the other two. We have written a full guide on Great Fairy Kaysa, so check that out for detailed instructions.

Where is Pyper – Serenade to Kaysa Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Pyper, the NPC necessary to serenade Kaysa in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or TOTK with the sound of their flute, is all the way in Highlands Stable Well in Faron Grasslands. Well, they’re in a tree slightly to the north of the stable at the following coordinates: 0529, -3394, 0057. Climb up the tree and talk to Pyper. They will let you know what they need ten more sunset fireflies in order to make the whole tree glow. The name of the quest is The Flute Player’s Plan. Hunting for fireflies is always a little annoying, but it is what it is. It’s the only way to get Pyper to come with.

The Flute Player’s Plan Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To complete the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom The Flute Player’s Plan side quest and get Pyper to serenade Great Fairy Kaysa in TOTK, you’ll need ten Sunset Fireflies, as we’ve already said. So, head to a fire and wait until night. There are no fireflies in the general area, aside from Beedle the traveling merchant. He’ll sell you a couple at a time. We took some from him, then went to the plateau southwest from Ukouh Shrine on Great Sky Island.

Either way, once you have ten fireflies, head back to Pyper. They’ll tell you to talk to Haite in the stable. So, do that and walk Haite to the tree. After a romantic cutscene, Pyper will finally return to his troupe.

Serenade to Kaysa Zelda TOTK Sound of a Flute

The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Serenade to Kaysa side quest is the final step of this journey, after which she will finally hear the sound of a flute in TOTK. First off, head back to the stage at Outskirt Stables (-1407, -1265, 0032) and talk to Mastro. It’s now time to build one of the coolest vehicles in the game. Grab the nearby base with the giant wheels with Ultrahand, put it on the ground, then find and attach the fourth wheel. Take the wheelless cart and place it on the base. Lastly, grab the steering column and put it at the front. Talk to the musicians to load them up, then drive up the mountain to Kaysa (-1555, -1239, 0085). After a cutscene, you’ll finally have access to the Fairy. If you need help with other Great Fairies take a look at our guide – How to unlock Great Fairy in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
