Can Holiday Hat Eevee Evolve in Pokemon GO Winter Holiday 2023 Event?

Let’s not beat around the bush and cut straight to the chase. And we have good news! Yes, it has been confirmed that Holiday Hat Eevee can evolve! Holiday Hat Eevee is one of the Pokemon that will appear more frequently in the wild during the event, alongside Holiday Attire Pikachu, Holiday Stantler, Holiday Spheal, and others. In addition, it will also hatch from 2 km Eggs during the event. If you hatch Eevee from Eggs during the holiday season, you might get a special surprise. Some of these Eevee will have a festive hat on their heads, and they will also have a higher chance of being Shiny Pokemon than the ones you encounter in the wild.

Holiday Hat Eevee will also be an encounter as a part of the “Catching Pokemon” path in the Winter Wishes event-exclusive timed research. Completing this path will net you 2× XP for catching Pokemon until December 31, 2023, at 8 pm, your local time zone. Then, you will also encounter the event Eevee during the Frosty Festivities event-exclusive timed research, specifically for the “Catch XY Ice-type Pokemon” tasks. Finally, the paid two-part Winter Holiday timed research will also feature a Holiday Hat Eevee encounter. It’s the part where you must catch four different Ice-type Pokemon species. And that’s about all you need to know!
