Shiny Haunter in Pokemon GO 2022

If you want to know whether there’s a shiny Haunter in Pokemon GO in 2022, you’ve come to the right place. We are going to dive into this problem, and it is a problem. Why? Because the answer is a little complicated. However, I’m sure that the Pokedex completionists that don’t have a shiny Haunter want to get their hands on one. Can Haunter be Shiny in Pokemon GO

The answer to the question of whether Haunter can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2022 is both yes and no. What the heck do I mean by that? Well, you can catch a shiny Gastly if you’re super-lucky. Then, all you need to do is evolve it into a shiny Haunter (and then into a shiny Gengar and Mega Gengar, if you so choose). It only requires Gastly Candy (twenty-five for the first evolution and a hundred for the second one). Of course, if you want a Mega Gengar, you’ll need two hundred Mega Energy to do so. Now, with all that said, Haunter on its own cannot be shiny. By that, I mean you can’t encounter a shiny Haunter in the wild (for example, in the upcoming Evolving Stars event).

So, that’s all we know about the Shiny Haunter in Pokemon GO in 2022. The reason I know that Haunter can’t be shiny on its own is because, in the post I’ve linked above, it doesn’t have the three little stars in the upper right corner. However, I also know for a fact that Gastly can be Shiny, so in a roundabout way, so can Haunter. It’s a bit complicated, but it is what it is. If you did somehow manage to encounter a shiny Haunter in this game, let us know in the comments. It’ll be interesting to analyze how that happened. Either way, stay tuned, because we’ll be sure to cover the important parts of the Evolving Stars event when it kicks off.
