Cyberpunk 2077 System Requirements Are Surprisingly Reasonable
If you’ve been biting your fingernails for months on end, scared your i9/2080 combo with a bajilion cores and a gazilion gigabytes of VRAM won’t be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings, it’s time to give it a rest. Also, it’s time to see a doctor because that is one unhealthy habit. CD Projekt RED have revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077, and both of them are surprisingly reasonable.
Without further ado, here are the minimum and recommended specs for Cyberpunk 2077:

Hands down, the biggest surprise is the fact it’ll run on Windows 7. Most new releases of this caliber insist on having the unholy abomination that is Windows 10 installed, but not our cheeky Polish friend. No sir. It’ll take up a lot of space on the hard drive, and the devs recommend having an SSD, which is probably why the RAM requirements aren’t as high as you’d expect – it’s going to do a lot of loading from disk. Eight GB of RAM is exceptionally reasonable – you’d be hard pressed to find a gaming rig with less than that nowadays.
I had to look up the CPU and GPU to check exactly how old the minimum required models are – they were first released eight and seven years ago, respectively. That is mighty generous, as far as I’m concerned. Even a rust bucket that was ahead of the curve seven years ago will be able to run the game in some form, which probably means that any PC that was bought for gaming in the last four will be more than enough.
