How to Get Treasure Chests in High Places in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are a few things you can do to reach and get the treasure chests in high places in Dragon’s Dogma 2, depending on your surroundings, your vocation, etc. One option that anyone can use is placing the harpy lure near the chest. At least one of the harpies will hang around for a while. You can then grab onto the monster, and it will take you upwards. I think you can control which way it goes just a little bit; it’s impossible to tell with all the thrashing going on. Point is, this method is not super-precise, but it will do in a pinch. But if you can at all use abilities (be they your own or your pawn’s) instead, that’s the far superior way to go.

If you are a Mage, you can get and reach the Dragon’s Dogma 2 treasure chests in high places with the Levitate spell. It basically works as a double jump, but you won’t get much extra air. In other words, you’ll have to leap off something that’s already a comparable height to the platform holding the chest. If you’re playing a Thief, use Concussive Step. It lets you both get a lot of air and go far, so it’s really useful. Lastly, Warriors and Fighters have Launch Ladder and Springboard (later Launchboard). The latter does require you have a shield equipped. Plus, you do need a Pawn to launch (or Pawn to launch you). This is a relatively imprecise method, so aim carefully.
