How to Investigate the Anomaly in MW3

The first thing that you need to know about this mission is that it is insanely difficult. So we definitely don’t recommend that you try doing it alone. Once you have started the mission, make your way to the Anomaly. If you don’t know where to find the Anomaly, don’t worry – it is going to be marked on your map. You will see a giant vortex there, but what you are looking for is the ominuous triangle gate. Approach it and interact with it. This will cause you to teleport straight into the Dark Aether Rift.

Your job here is to break the four Seals, one by one. Each one of these is on a different spot on the map, so proceed to the closest one. The Seals look like black pillars. When you interact with them, this will create a blue circle around it and it will summon a bunch of zombies, Disciples, hellhounds, and other enemies. As we mentioned, this is (intentionally) hellishly difficult if you are playing solo. Once you have managed to kill enough of them, the Seal is going to explode, killing the remaining enemies around it. You’ll get a message that you have broken the first out of four shields. Repeat this process three more times, and after that you will be able to leave this Dark Aether Rift area. For your reward, you will get the So Many Teeth Charm and 10.000 XP.
