Where to Find the City Hall Key in DMZ and take the Governor’s Laptop from the Ashika Island Town Hall

The Whistleblower mission is a Tier 1 mission for the brand new faction in the game – the Crown. The Crown missions are only available if you own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Hence, they are not a part of the free-to-play DMZ experience. The first step in this mission is to “take the Governor’s Laptop from the Ashika Island Town Hall”. Sounds easy enough on paper. All you have to do is to head to the City Hall, and find the Governor’s Laptop. However, once you reach the Tawn Holl, you’ll sound find out that it’s locked and that you need to find the key. So, where to get it?

Unfortunately, as with most other keys in Call of Duty Warzone 2’s DMZ mode, this key is also a random drop. Hence, there is no guarantee that you will find it in any specific place. However, what we may confirm is that you will be able to find it more frequently from some specific targets. Namely, it has been confirmed that high-value targets have higher chances of dropping a Town Hall Key than regular AI combatants. Hence, you need to find an HVT contract and eliminate the target as fast as possible to obtain the DMZ City Hall Hideout Key, which is the full name of this item.

With that said, our guide is completed. All that has left to do is to bring the laptop to the Ashika Beach Club Dead Drop. If you know any other locations where we can find this key, please – share them with us in the comments section! Good luck, and have fun in DMZ Season 2.
