ESO Morrowind Assassins and the Great Houses Trailer

There’s a new trailer out for ESO: Morrowind. The video is called Assassins and the Great Houses, and it’s about, well, exactly what the title says. We are introduced to the ruling Great Houses, and the Morag Tong assassins. The trailer is mostly cinematic, but it does also include snippets of in-game footage.

The narrator of the video seems to be the head of the Morag Tong. He, rather cynically, talks about the Hlaalu, Redoran, and Telvanni, all families “as old as Morrowind”. He explains that the three are in a delicate balance, which can easily be tipped over and, presumably, plunge the land into a civil war. One wrong move, one crime of passion, and the fragile balance is gone.

This is where the Morag Tong assassins come into play. They are an organization that provides discreet, impersonal and honorable assassinations. In a weird way, they preserve the balance between the houses, since it’s very difficult to point fingers if the perpetrator is a secretive bunch of killers. You’d be unwise to even try. Of course, being extremely careful and avoiding detection at any cost are of paramount importance. The video ends with the narrator promising a quick, sharp visit to you if you act carelessly.

Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is coming out on June 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac. However, some PC and Mac users will get ESO Morrowind Early Access!
