Stored EXP after FFXV update 1.05

The latest Final Fantasy 15 update revealed a big problem with stored XP. If your character level was less than 99, after 1.05 update the amount of stored experience will be cut off. If your character was level 99 than all the stored XP will be reset to 0.

Fast level up to 120 in FFXV after patch 1.05

In order to reach the new level cap of 120 in Final Fantasy 15 you’ll need approximately 26 million EXP. The fastest way to max up your level is to farm Cactuars in a new timed quest introduced with this patch. You can start this timed hunt near Cnuscherry Plains.

Before you start the quest make sure that you have equipped Moogle charms on each character. Moogle Charm only adds bonus EXP to the wearer instead of the whole party. You can also equip Nixperience Band on one of the characters to stop experience points from being spent, and your party leveling up, when you camp/rest. Don’t forget to eat Lasagna al Forno to increase experience points earned by 100%. Equip Black Hood and you’ll automatically evade all attacks or Ring of Lucii that allows you to cast advanced magic, including a spell that lets you heal by dealing damage to your opponents.

With this method you’ll earn about 140K EXP in 5 minutes. If you use 8 rare coins and craft Expericast spell and cast it before you kill the Cactuars you’ll get between 300-400k per quest. The great thing about this timed quest is that you’ll get it instantly after you finish it, so you don’t need to waste time by visiting the quest giver. After collecting 8 million XP 3 million XP (thanks to Chaturanand Chauhan for the heads up!), go to the hotel in Altissia and pay 30,000 gil for triple experience.

The entire that was made about only doing 3mil xp is incorrect. The hotel counter only goes up to 9,999,999 but the excess is still tallied because if you will notice it may say 9,999,999 but it doesn’t go below that until the excess is used. No need to stop at only 3mil I went from lvl 103 to 120 with one stay at the hotel had about 25mil xp at the time and it tallied it all.

It’s a lot faster to just save and reload at a high level mob or run through a dungeon. This takes forever and gives a tiny fraction of the experience needed to reach 120..

If you already have Black Hood it’s a LOT quicker to grind XP in Insomnia or any Menace Dungeon.

Everyone noticed this. You only get the hunt completion reward once. So you will only get the 333AP once also. This is how they all work and completely normal.

Firsty, eat that Lasagna Al Forno for 200% EXP.

If you have the season pass, the best way to do this is equip the Ragnarok sword (comes in the latest Booster Pack, this dramatically boosts warp strike damage- I see between 8k-9999’s with it on the Cactuar’s) and warp strike farm them. As mentioned, use the Moogle charm on each character. Ideally give Noctis a Ribbon, or a Rainbow Pendant that prevents confusion (bought for Lestallum) if your sans ribbon. If you have the third accessory slot, I’ve been going for Tech Turbo Charger (from season pass holiday pack). This accelerates the tech bar fill up rate a ton. Then you want Prompto to spam Gravisphere, as it’ll round all the Cactuar’s up, and either wipe them out, or make it easy for warp strikes (since they run around a lot). There’s warp points dotted around, so just warp there for more MP if you run low.

This is far quicker than running Ring Of Lucii, doesn’t cripple your MP anywhere near as much, and you get a TON of ap from all the warp striking.

You can’t access more than 10 million exp at one time at any hotel, any excess will go waste. So do it 3 million at a time

It counts past the 10 mil mark when you go to a hotel, so there’s no need to limit yourself to only 3mil each run.

I can confirm this. Just stays at 9999999 visually and tallies exp until it drops below this mark. So getting 5-6 mil and then going to the x3 exp in is a valid option.
