Who is Miss Delight in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3?

Prior to the release of the new chapter, the developers had been heavily teasing a new character, set for a debut in Chapter 3. As it turns out, she is Miss Delight, one of the antagonists in Chapter 3, roaming Playcare’s school. Her main gimmick is related to light sources. Namely, she freezes in her tracks the moment the lights are on, but she will aggressively advance toward the player when the lights are out.

In our humble opinion, she is one of the scariest enemies in Chapter 3, and her parts are done really well. However, who exactly is she? She was one of the eight sister teachers in Playcare’s school who were left behind the locked door. Soon after, her sisters stopped providing her food. This resulted in her going crazy and killing everyone in order to consume them.

Eventually, the locked door will unlock, and she will find CatNap. She’ll figure out that CatNap was the one who locked the door. However, due to the circumstances, they will decide to cooperate. In Chapter 3, she will threaten the player, urging us to leave. Alas, we will ignore her warnings, and she will attack us. There are some theories among fans that Miss Delight is actually a teacher named Ms. Harper. The teacher we hear on a tape from the start of Chapter 3. However, Claire Harper is actually very worried about the children there, which is in sharp contrast to the behaviour of Miss Delight. Hence, we tend to believe that this theory doesn’t hold.
