Shiny Noibat Pokemon GO 2023

If you want to get a shiny Noibat in Pokemon GO in 2023, you’re not gonna be in for an easy time. That’s true for all shiny Pokemon, really. Luckily for you, there’s an event coming soon (at time of writing) that will be the ideal time to try and catch one. That’s what we’ll be covering in this guide, as well as how to tell the difference between a shiny and regular Noibat.

Can Noibat be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Noibat can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2023. The catch is, of course, that their spawn rate is depressingly low. Then again, that’s kinda the point of shiny Pokemon, as we all know. So, first off, how can you tell a special version of Noibat from the regular one? Well, this is the easy part. Unlike the normal Noibat, which is a light purple, the shiny Noibat is greenish-teal. I don’t know what the exact name of that shade is; all I know is that there’s no way that you can mix the two up. Unless you have problems with perceiving colors, which is a whole different matter. And, yes, Noivern can also be shiny. Check out our Noibat Evolution Into Noivern guide for more info on that.

This doesn’t help us with the fact that shiny Noibat are rare in Pokemon GO in 2023 (and in general). That’s where the Noibat Community Day comes into play. This event will take place on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 from 2 PM to 5 PM local server time. In these three hours, Noibat will be appearing way more often in the wild than usual. Since its spawn rate will be increased, so will the odds of running into a shiny on. This will be especially useful if you live in a region where Noibat is already rare (like me). Of course, there will be other cool bonuses in the Community Day, including a special featured attack for Noivern evolved during the event, an exclusive Special Research Story, and more.
