When is Tekken Season 1 DLC Coming Out?

Before we get into the confirmed characters, let’s talk about when the Tekken 8 Season 1 is coming out. While no exact date has been revealed just yet, we can assume that it’s going to drop at some point in the spring of 2024. At least, that’s when the first character is going to drop. The other three DLC characters will release one per season. Season of the year, that is: one in spring, one in summer, one in fall and one in winter. Talk about drip-feeding content. Still, the base roster will be plenty to keep you entertained. Hwoarang is there, so I’m a happy camper.

Tekken 8 All Confirmed DLC Characters So Far

So, far, only one of four Tekken 8 Season 1 DLC characters has been confirmed. As you can probably guess from the image above, it’s my ole reliable, Eddy Gordo. Yes, I was that kid with almost zero clue of what they’re doing and often mashed buttons back in the day. You can catch the first glimpses of the capoeira master in this trailer. Always good to see a familiar face. Now, as for what the other DLC characters are going to be, we have no idea at time of writing. And I doubt we’ll find out until after Eddy is out, or at least until the game comes out on January 26th. Personally, I hope for the return of Lei Wulong, since he was a DLC character in Tekken 7 and is one of my absolute favorites.
