How to Get 5 Star Cards in Monopoly GO

The only way to get 5 Star Cards in Monopoly GO, or five star Stickers as the game calls them, is to open Card Packs. The higher the tier of the Pack, the higher the chance they will have a 5 Star Card. Ideally, you want to get the light-purple pack with five stars on it. Those also have a chance to drop a Golden Five Star Card, which are the rarest of the bunch. The absolute pinnacle are the dark purple packs that have no stars on them, because those guarantee that you will get a card that you don’t already have. Those packs are also the rarest, so always look out for them in events and the like. But also, always open the lower-tier Packs, because they can surprise you.

So, what we should really be asking is how do you get 5 Star Sticker Packs. The answer to that, of course, is to play the game regularly, a lot, and often. Why? Because the only way to earn them is by participating in various events. I’m talking winning tournaments and scoring big in events to hit as many milestones as you can. Scoring Quick Wins is also important to earning the Monopoly GO 5 Star Cards or five Star Stickers, because those usually unlock some sort of Card Pack further along you go. Then, there are also the Safes that you can open by “sacrificing” a certain amount of duplicate Cards that have the appropriate cumulative Star value.

Last, but not least, there’s trading with other players, which can be done at any time. The exception are Gold Stickers, which you can only trade during the Golden Blitz events. And if you need more Dice, check out our Free Dice Links guide.
