How to Get Flamebreaker Armor, Lava Resistance Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You can get the Flamebreaker Armor, which grants lava resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in a shop in Goron City. You can reach the city itself without much protection at all; maybe consider getting the Heat Resistance armor in a hidden Gerudo shop, but even without it, you should be relatively okay. However, when you go down into the Fire Temple, not even the heat resistant gear is going to be enough. The all-present lava will cook you real quick. Problem is, that’s where part of the main quest takes place. That means you’re forced to get the flame resistant armor. The helm costs 1400 Rupees, the boots 1200 Rupees, and the armor 700 Rupees. That’s a total of 3300 Rupees you’ll have to cough up.

So, that’s where you can get the lava resistance-giving Flamebreaker Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom as far as we know. If there are ways to get the pieces without paying for them, do let us know in the comments. We certainly haven’t run into them anywhere else. However you obtain the flame resistant armor, you won’t get far in the Fire Temple until you do. And even then, keep in mind that it only lets you walk near lava. You drop into the molten rock, you’re dead in seconds. Nothing can save you. Yes, we tested it. Even with the full set upgraded at the Great Fairy and activate the set bonus (which we recommend you do anyway).Be very careful while traversing areas where the floor is literal lava. Not that the game will send you far back, but it gets frustrating after a while.

It’s not really a way to get the armor for free but I was able to stand right next to lava as long as Sideons water bubble stayed on with small windows of time it could be off.
