How to Find Naydra in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Naydra is a majestic and ancient dragon that you can encounter in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This enormous dragon radiates energy infused with the power of ice. And just like in Breath of the Wild, you can ride on it and collect that energy. However, that’s easier said than done. That’s because Naydra only shows up at a certain location in a certain time frame. So, you have to be at the right place at the right time. Thus, the question here is – where’s Naydra the Dragon’s location in Zelda TOTK?

Zelda TOTK Naydra’s Location

Naydra appears in the West Necluda region. To be more precise, in the East Hill zone. In the first game, Naydra was usually visible from around 12 am until 6 am game time. However, in Tears of the Kingdom, we’ve managed to spot the dragon much earlier. Naydra is visible high in the sky almost non-stop. And if you are creative enough, you can jump on it even then. Namely, we’ve managed to jump on Naydra via the North Necluda Sky Archipelago.

However, to jump on Naydra from the ground, you must wait until around 9 pm in-game time. That’s when the dragon descends from the sky into the Depths via the East Hill Chasm. You can wait for Naydra around the edges of the East Hill Chasm at ~8:30 pm and use the opportunity when it starts plunging to jump with your paraglider.

Keep in mind that it starts being extremely cold when you approach the Dragon. Hence, you’ll need the Cold Resistance Armor or a lot of cold resistance food in order to survive being on Naydra. Once there, farm as many Shards of Naydra’s Spike and Naydra’s Scale as possible.

All dragons recharge their parts in 10 mins. So, the best is take the trip with them and get all you need

Naydra can also be found coming out of the chasm at the base of lanayru mountain west of the spring of wisdom.

Sleeping doesn’t seem to affect where the dragon is so time isn’t a reliable way to track it
