Cyberpunk 2077 Transmission, Kill Brigitte & Voodoo Boys

Transmissions is one of the main story missions in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s the one where you go into the Voodoo Boys lair and take a deep dive into the depths of the net, looking for Alt Cunningham. At the very end of the quest, you’ll get to choose whether you leave the place peacefully, or draw your weapon and let bullets fly. Lots of folks are wondering what the consequences of choosing to attack are – apart from the obvious. If you’re wondering about that yourself, our Cyberpunk 2077 Transmission guide will explain everything.

Kill Brigitte & Voodoo Boys – draw weapon or not?

Once you’re out of Alt-land, you’ll be offered a choice to walk away peacefully, or draw your weapon and give those Voodoo Boys (and girls) a piece of your mind. If you remain cool-headed, you’ll just walk away and leave the chapel unharmed, but with nothing to show for your effort.

If you draw the weapon, everyone will become hostile immediately. You’ll have to fight off a bunch of enemies, including Brigitte and the netrunners. When you reach the door, Placide will confront you. If you manage to overpower him, you’ll get his coat – it’s a legendary clothing item with four mod slots. It’s a nice reward, and you’ll get to finally shut Placide up.

If you want to fight the Voodoo boys, a much better choice is to side with the NetWatch agent in the movie theather. If you do, Brigitte and the netrunners will already be dead when you wake up, so you’ll have less enemies to deal with.

There are no far-reaching consequences, no matter what you choose. The only thing that changes is the Voodoo Boys’ attitude towards you. If you choose to massacre them in their own home, they’ll turn hostile for the remainder of the game. It’s not like they were friendly to begin with, though. Basically, if you want the trenchcoat – kill them. If the fighting is too much of a bother – spare them.

The only thing I noticed is if you kill them, and call up Mr Hands and go through some of the blue dialogue, he flips out at you over it. But thats all, he will still put up with you.

I don’t believe he is dead. If you go back inside the chapel after your conversation with Johnny, his body is gone.

Hmm… Yeah but is that because he got up and walked away or because CDPR has been huffing chooh2?

Was hoping for some far reaching consequences in the end game. I killed Brigitte and then the game crashed. Took me 2 goes to pick the right choices to get the opportunity to shoot her again. Was hoping it would come back to haunt me. Even got a text from placide after I killed him saying “watch your back” which came to nothing. So many missed opportunities. Hope people who play this on ps5 get a better and more fleshed out main game.the prologue and epilogues were good tho. Plus the world looks cool as hell. Bye chooms

After i woke up and pissed at Brigitte’s leg for fooling me, she said something like “watch your mouth, this is my realm” i draw the “Crash” to scare her. She let me no choice then to shoot a bullet in her head, i fought my way up and faced Placide. It was a good fist fight but as a prime street brawler he hit the floor, still breathing. graped his stuff and went out the church. after a day i received a message from him:

      “watch your back”

Must be hard to see your gang nearly wiped out, and left alive…

Actually if you side with NetWatch, the agent wakes up Brigitte and Ti. So it’s a win win for both in away. Placide is the only one angry about it.
