Where is CS2 Arms Race, Counter-Strike 2 Gun Game Mode

So, is Arms Race removed from CS2? Let’s not mince our words here. Instead, we will be straight with you. At launch, Counter-Strike 2 doesn’t have the Arms Race mode. In fact, any type of Gun Game mode is currently not in CS2. We are not sure if this is a temporary removal or a permanent change. While not the main mode of the game, Arms Race was an extremely popular way of playing CS:GO casually, and many fans were disappointed to see it removed. “I was excited about the update, but it looks like they messed it up and removed Arms Race and Danger Zone… so better graphics but less game,” says Steam user Three16. And he is just one of many fans on Steam and Reddit who are expressing their disappointment about this removal.

However, there’s no need for despair. Namely, while not officially confirmed, it’s safe to assume that the CS2 Arms Race mode will be added at some point. In fact, maps Baggage, Shoots, and Lake were all previously leaked. However, they are not yet added to the game. Hence, our theory is that Valve will add these maps in a future update where they will introduce the Counter-Strike 2 Gun Game mode. And it will most likely be a CS2 version of Arms Race. So there you have it. Arms Race is not currently in Counter-Strike 2, but it will likely be added in the near future with a new update. We will make sure to update our guide once we have more information.
