Cyberpunk Life During Wartime - Scan The Tracks, Turret, Call Takemura Bug Solution
Life During Wartime is one of the quests in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s the one where you and Panam do a lot of damage while looking for Hellman. There are several objectives where people are getting stuck thanks to bugs. The first is the one where you’re supposed to scan the tracks, then there’s the one where you have to deal with the turret, and finally the call with Takemura. Scan the tracks marker underground
The first problem occurs during the objective when you’re supposed to scan the tracks. The marker should lead you to the tracks, but for some, it starts pointing to a random place underground, like a megabuilding in the middle of the city. If that happens, all you have to do is head to the correct location – only the marker is bugged, so if you head there without the marker leading you, you’ll still be able to scan them.
Take out the turret – can’t destroy missile turret
The next issues happens when you have to take out the turret. Despite the objective clearly implying it, shooting the thing won’t do anything. You need to approach it and hack the terminal embedded in its side.
Call Takemura bug
The final bug is the one that prevents you from calling Takemura. There are two potential ways out of it – the first is to reload and enter the room more slowly – wait until the current conversation is over before you cross the treshold. The other is to call a random contact from your phone before the ambush, so that you are sure the call with Panam is truly over.

I have a firetruck glitch, the turret controls remain on the screen after I leave the turret and remain there permanently. Anyone have a fix?
I for some reason cannot open the door to where Hellman is in the garage. The windows shut and the door is locked..Took all the guards out, yet nothing. Says get to upper floor and confront Hellman, but it’s doesn’t seem possible.
Can you please describe, where on the map the Garage is? That would help me a lot 🙂
Thank you for asking this. I’m having the same problem. When I approached the door upstairs in the garage no prompt appears to open it so I can’t open the door to get to where Hellman is. Any fix to this?
I am exactly at the bug with the scan the tracks which leads to a megabuilding. I can‘t find the right tracks anymore where are they?
At the end of the quest Life during war Johnny doesn’t show up after i leave the room.
IF YOU STILL CAN’T CALL TAKEMURA PLEASE READ THIS .
some player just play with one save or all of their saves are when they findout there is a bug BUT they can not call takemura anymore so there is no way back . BUT THERE IS A WAY !!! go in journal and click on “call takemura” which is the quest , if u click on that u will see the takemura’s picture at right side and if u click on that picture u automaticly call him . Hope is be usefull 🙂

I have a different glitch on this quest line: the drone you use to observe the wreckage won’t let me scan Mitch, despite the fact I can see him and it gives me his data. I can’t progress and restarting didn’t help. Any ideas? PS4 version if that helps

same issue here on PC
the issue you are addressing my issue managed to fix it self by me reseting the game and changing the language idk if that helps but i changed it from english to polish as i play the game in these two languages. weird bug hasnt happned to alot of people this mission it self apparently has alot of issues
also noticed when you connect to the drone and you cant see the cable coming out of your hand being connected to panems car you will 100 percent experience the bug
